Military Hero

Trey was nominated by Melanie Moncrief, My husband, Trey Moncrief, is my hero for so many reasons! Not only does he serve in the U.S. Navy as an Aircraft Electrician but he makes sure to take care of what matters at home as well. Trey and I have been together for 5 years and married over a year. During that time he has been on many deployments all over the world. Since moving to Virginia 2 years ago, he's been deployed at least half of that time. Somehow he manages to keep his family at the forefront to make sure we always feel like he's close to home. Trey gives everything he does 110%. He works hard each and every day to be the be an amazingly thoughtful, caring and loving husband, a connected friend and a family focused son and brother. If that wasn't enough, he provides love and support as a step-father to my daughter, who adores him. He will forever be a hero to all of us. He's among the most patriotic and focused men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and I am beyond proud to be his wife. He has always and will always be a hero to his best friend and sister, Daire. I can't think of a man more deserving to be recognized.
