Military Hero

Ned Lowery was nominated by his son Ned, My dad is my hero. He had an awesome career in the US Navy as a fighter pilot and retired as a Captain. Growing up on a farm in Georgia as a young boy in knew he wanted to be a pilot. During his career in had many commands and always strived to better himself learning all the positions in his command, he was well liked by the people working for him and upon his retirement a landmark was named in his honor. My dad is also my hero because he is a devoted family man always taking care of his family while in the Navy. Married to his wife for over 60 years I also look up to my dad for his encouragement and support and the teaching of life. Please consider my dad as the Hero Of The Week
