Military Hero

Damien was nominated by his wife Jessica: My husband, Damien has been active duty USCG for almost 20 years. He has missed birthdays, holidays, school functions, and our kids growing up. He has a very diverse career. He has been to a few stations, SARDET, a Group, MSST Team, ATON, and a training center. He has done 2 (one year) tours in Bahrain, as well as deploying to countries like Cuba, Lebanon, Iraq, and Kuwait. He approaching his 20 year mark and is about to make the decision to stay in or retire. Despite missing so much of our life together he wants to continue on. We couldn’t be prouder of his accomplishments and support his decision to stay. He has had an amazing career thus far! The picture below is of (left) him leaving for Bahrain the first time and (right) remaking the picture the second time around. Our kids adore him. Our son wants to follow in his footsteps and joking the Coast Guard.
