Military Hero

Larry was nominated by his granddaughter Laura: My Grandfather Larry Joyner served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, retired and is now working at Portsmouth Naval as a civilian and has been for quite sometime. While in the Navy he served on the USS Saratoga in Vietnam and then the USS Kennedy later on in his career. He is someone that I have always looked up to in hopes of being like one day and most definitely is my hero. He is the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back, selfless, thoughtful and giving. I couldn't have asked for a better role model or a better Grandfather. He is/was always there for me and I will never be able to ever repay him for all that he has done for me. He deserves this and so much more. I love you Pop Pop!
