Military Hero

Edward was nominated by his daughter Nicole: There are so many things I could say about my Dad but the things that stand out the most are his duty to country and his love for his family ( the best pop-pop of 4). My Dad served 20 years in The United States Navy and currently works for a Govt. Contractor helping to refuel today's fleet. Today is known as a what some say is an old school sailor having worked on The Vulcan (Plank Owner), The Kennedy,working as an MP at NNYS, and retiring from the IKE. He always cracks jokes about this New Navy stuff. I remember as a kid hating that my Daddy was always gone during what always seemed like the most important times in my life. I know now and I am thankful that it was those challenges that would prepare me for life as a military wife. I know that as a kid and even as adults we sometimes never say it enough but I am Proud of my Dad, I Love him with all my heart, and most of all I am Thankful that he picked HR and he picked us! Keep the Sea stories coming Dad the laughs they often bring will one day be the memories we miss the most!!
