Military Hero

Brian was nominated by his son, Andrew: For the past 5 years, I have had the distinct pleasure of serving alongside my father on active duty in the world's most powerful Navy. Soon he will be celebrating his retirement after 26 YEARS of faithful service to the United States of America. There are many great fathers in this country, and there are many outstanding Shipmates in the Navy, but I am lucky enough to have been blessed with a combination of the two. Throughout his career, he has trained, guided, and lead countless Sailors to achieve more than they thought possible; and prepared them to become the future leaders that the Navy depends on. For all of the reasons above, my Dad - my Shipmate - is my military hero.
