Military Hero

John was nominated by Colin: He was deployed to Iraq twice and Bosnia once. He even missed the birth of his first child because he was deployed to Iraq. He is now retired after 21 years of service. I nominate him because he has always been there for me. He supports me in whatever I do, and is always excited to do so. He always sets aside time to be with his family despite his busy work schedule. He is very funny and tells great stories about his time in the service. He is a great leader, even creating and leading his own Boy Scout Troop and Pack. He is a very pleasant person to be around.
