Johnny was nominated by his daughter-in-law Katura. She wrote: He’s a father of five, many grandchildren. Retired and was in Vietnam war. He’s having really bad health and heart problems. 30 beats per minute. He should be recognized for his hard work as a airplane mechanic in the war. He’s not going to make it maybe another year. I would like him to be recognized for his hard work during the war and has been a mechanic afterwards, even today he’s putting together my new engine in my Honda prelude. Even though he can only work 3 hours a day and sleeps the rest his whole family loves him very much.
