Celebrate generations and create lasting memories at the 48th Annual Suffolk Peanut Fest, returning October 8–11, 2026, at the Suffolk Executive Airport. One of Virginia’s favorite fall festivals, Suffolk Peanut Fest brings together live entertainment, family activities, thrilling attractions, delicious food, and plenty of peanuts for four unforgettable days. This year’s theme, “Celebrating Generations – One Picture Perfect Memory at a Time!”, highlights the traditions and shared experiences that have made Peanut Fest a cherished family event for nearly five decades.

Festivalgoers can enjoy an outstanding lineup of live entertainment headlined by Chris Cagle, whose chart-topping hits include I Breathe In, I Breathe Out, Chicks Dig It, What Kinda Gone, What a Beautiful Day, and Laredo. Also taking the Main Stage is Georgia-born country artist Jon Langston, whose songs including Forever Girl, All Eyes on Us, and When it Comes to Loving You have amassed tens of millions of streams. The lineup continues with Virginia native Cody Christian, whose blue-collar sound blends country, Americana, and folk traditions. Taking audiences back to the last decade of the 20th century, the Woah 90’s Band delivers everyone’s favorite rock, pop, and grunge anthems. Also performing is Virginia-based country-folk singer/songwriter Cari Lacey, whose storytelling talents earned her a place on American Idol Season 23. Rounding out the entertainment lineup are The Daniel Jordan Band, Allen Hudson & Half Moons, Island Boy, and Mashup & Cozy Conditions

New for 2026:

Drone Show
This year’s festival will feature a spectacular custom drone light show presented by Airloom Drone
Shows, an East Coast drone entertainment company based in Charlottesville, Virginia. Airloom
specializes in transforming the night sky into a canvas for storytelling through synchronized aerial
choreography and cutting-edge technology. Using hundreds of GPS-guided, LED-equipped drones, the
performance will create stunning animations, festival-themed imagery, and larger-than-life designs
synchronized to music.

Live Butterfly Feeding Experience
A unique “living” exhibit will inflate, becoming a magical walk-through exhibit filled with flowers and live
butterflies with attendants on hand to assist guests with feeding the butterflies.

Virginia Agriculture Mobile Education Unit
The Virginia Agriculture Mobile Education Unit is an interactive educational tool that showcases the
Commonwealth’s largest private industry, agriculture and forestry, while demonstrating the valuable role
it plays in our daily lives. When visitors enter the unit, they will learn about the remarkable diversity of
Virginia’s agriculture, its history, its people, and the latest innovations and career opportunities that are
leading us into the future.

New Fire Safety House
The Fire Safety House is an updated, interactive, mobile education exhibit frequently utilized by Suffolk Fire and Rescue to teach children and families about home fire escape plans and general safety. Returning favorites for 2026 include DockDogs®, carnival and amusement rides, the Demolition Derby, Monster Truck Rides, the Shrimp Feast, Peanut Butter Sculpting, the Peanut Cup Auto Race, Swamp Roar Motorcycle Rally, hot air balloons, pony rides and petting zoo, arts and crafts, chalk art, clogging performances, a cornhole tournament, Senior Bingo, Princess Sing-Alongs, Hot Wings Eating Contests, and plenty of festival food and fresh boiled peanuts. The festival kicks off Thursday, October 8, with Carload Night from 4–10 p.m. Admission is free, and visitors may purchase an all-you-can-ride carnival wristbands for $50 per vehicle (up to eight people legally seated in one vehicle). On Friday, October 9, the festival celebrates Kiddie/Senior Day, with free admission for everyone until noon, along with special activities for preschoolers and mature adults. Festival hours for Friday and Saturday, October 9–10, are 10:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m., and Sunday, October 11, from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. General admission after noon on Friday and throughout the remainder of the weekend is $10 per person, with children ages 12 and under admitted free. Free parking is available throughout the festival. Military Appreciation Day will be held on Sunday, October 11, offering free admission to active-duty military, retired military, and first responders with valid identification. Unlimited carnival ride wristbands will be available Sunday on for $30 per person.
