Military Hero of the Week rules – 2015
Starting January 1, 2015 and running through December 31, 2015, listeners may go to FM99.com or 1069thefox.com and submit a photo and required information about an active, former or retired military member. No purchase necessary. Military members may also nominate themselves. Each Monday, one military member will be randomly chosen as the Military Hero of the Week. Submissions must be received by 11:59 pm each Sunday to be eligible for the following Monday’s random drawing. One nomination per military member. This station is conducting this contest concurrently and simultaneously with one other radio station in Hampton Roads.
Submissions must be received by 11:59pm each Sunday to be eligible to be named the Military Hero of the Week. Submissions received after that time will be in the running for the following week. Entrants who are not chosen remain in the pool of entrants for the duration of the promotion.
A new Military Hero of the Week will be randomly selected each Monday by a WNOR/WAFX staffer, and will be notified via telephone. In the event an entrant is not eligible, another entrant will be randomly chosen as the winner. Entrants must be active, former, or retired military personnel with military ID and must be based locally. They can be currently deployed or based oversees, but must have a home base of Hampton Roads.

WNOR/WAFX contests are open to all eligible Hampton Roads and northeast North Carolina residents who live or work within 75 miles of the station 18 or older who have not won anything on WNOR/WAFX in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash.
