The men and women of Naval Air Station Oceana are busily planning 2015 NAS Oceana Air Show and are very excited to once again open their base up to the public on Saturday and Sunday, September 19th & 20th, 2015.
This year the NAS Oceana Air Show is pleased to present the United States Navy’s Blue Angels flight demonstration team along with a host of thrilling military and civilian performances. Our fans won’t want to miss the aerial artistry of soloist Gary Ward, the GEICO Skytypers, Greg Shelton’s FM-2 Wildcat, Dan Buchanan’s hang glider, Bill Leff’s T-6 Texan and Paul Woods remarkable A-4 Skyhawk. We’ll also have our local squadrons performing the F/A-18C Hornet Tactical Demonstration, the F/A-18F Super Hornet Tactical Demonstration and the signature Air Power Demonstration with Fleet Flyby.
Along with the Skydive Suffolk Parachute Demonstration team and the heart-stopping performance by the SHOCKWAVE Jet Truck, the 2015 NAS Oceana Air Show is guaranteed to provide a thrill a minute for the whole family to enjoy. Arriving by Car:
Naval Air Station Oceana lies 16 miles East of the City of Norfolk but within the city limits of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Air station is tucked away among the tall trees, swamps and farmland just west of the waterfront. Your first approach to the Air Station is from Interstate 64 East or West.
