Chief Petty Officer Samantha Burrell was nominated by her brother in law Chris, who had the following to say about her: “Chief Petty Officer Samantha Burrell enlisted in the navy 9 years ago hailing from Connecticut, she was one of 8 Children in her family, SO family is very important to her. She just returned from a deployment on the USS Geraldo R. Ford CVN78. Where she lead a division of Fire control man. She met the love of her life Zach, they together have Twin Boys who are 2 years. Zach has two other sons she has stepped up and is raising as her own. Sam has also step up to be a guardian of a 17 year old. She is a wonderful mother and Great sailor. I nominate her because of her loyal devotion to duty and her family.”
