Military Hero

Charles (Chuck) Potter was nominated by his wife Amy : My husband and hero Chuck has been in the Navy for 15 years . He has been stationed in Virginia and Nevada. He has done many cruises, all of the on the USS Eisenhowser. We were married in April of 2012, found out we were expecting in May and she shipped out in June. The ship returned in December and we had our son in February. One week later I was in the hospital with rate and deadly condition called PPCM. (Congestive Heart Failure) We had a new baby at home and there was a possibility Chuck would be raising him alone. Thankfully I made it, I believe due to Chuck nursing me back to health. Chuck always puts his needs behind his friends, family and his shipmates. He loves the Navy and our country. Chuck is very deserving of this award and simply nominating him is the only way I can show my gratitude for all he has done for his family and the country.
