Kevin was nominated by his wife, Miranda:
My hero is my amazing Husband, not only is he my best friend but he is the most amazing father to our two exceptionally rambunctious little boys (who very much take after their daddy in every way). He has sacrificed so much(including being there for the birth of our second son) to give our family the best and to be able to serve this amazing country. Along with his love for us he has an incredible work ethic and believes when you have a job you get it done and do it right and because of that he made E5 in just under two years and got a NAM on his first deployment. We love him so very much and are Very blessed to have him in our lives and for our boys to have him as their father. With such an amazing man to look up to I know they will be just as incredible as their daddy. We will forever be so proud of him and he will always be our HERO!
