Military Hero

Douglas was nominated by Brittany Johnson: Doug is an IT in the Navy. He's been in the Navy for eight years now. He is a wonderful Father and Husband. He works long hours and he always comes home and he's a wonderful family man. I had to be gone for a couple of months and he was a wonderful father during the time I was gone. He is a constant inspiration for our two year old son, and I believe others look up to him as well. He's very courageous in the things he does, hes all about taking on work tasks. He volunteers with a local Elementary School in Suffolk, reading to the various students there and helping with homework and such. The kids there look up to him. Not only is he a hero in their eyes, but he's a hero in everyone's eyes that know him.
