Military Hero

Leah was nominated by Alexander Stiles: My mom is a Chief in the Navy. She has been serving in the military for almost 16 years. She is currently out to sea on the USS George H. W. BUSH preparing for deployment. She is my hero because she has been my rock for the past 2 years when my dad was deployed. She was a superwoman take care of my two sisters and I. She was always at my football games, helped me with scholarship applications, help me qualify for grants, and make it to my sister's softball games. She did this all while working a full time job in the Navy. She does always get the recognition she deserves but she is always there for me, my family and her sailors. She is my hero an the reason I plan to serve in the Navy as a officer once I finish college.
