Military Hero

Krish was nominated by Laural: Krish has selflessly served this country for 20 years. He has deployed to Iraq as well as Afghanistan. In fact, when I met Krish in 2013 he was a part of the Warrior Transition Unit fighting to stay in the Army on active duty following a severe leg injury that left both legs permanently damaged. The fact that he wanted to stay in to deploy shows the type of character he has. He is an outstanding soldier but an even better husband and father. After 20 years he has decided to hang up his boots to pursue his Bachelors degree and be a stay at home daddy. In October he will officially retire from the Army, but he is and always will be our hero.
