My nomination is for my boyfriend, Michael Ogden. He served in the Army and retired from the Navy after 26 years of service – 20 years in the Navy and 6 years in the Army. He was an Lieutenant Commander Supply Officer for EOD Group 2 and AFPAK hands where he learned how to speak Dari. He’s a hero at home as well, with 3 girls he raised as a single parent for a lot of years. He is the best father, friend and partner that I’ve ever known and would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need.
