My husband joined the Navy two months after I was laid off from my job, drastically changing our lives so that he can provide for the both of us.
Because of this, I’m able to pursue my dreams of writing and raise our wonderful dog. Mason leaves for work at 0500 and often doesn’t come home until 2000. And even though he’s only been at his ship since October, he’s already received a NAM, Navy Achievement Medal.
Our entire family is proud of him, his ship is proud of him, and I am so incredibly proud of my husband.
