I nominate my wonderful wife, LCDR Cynthia Holland. She just returned from a nine-month deployment to Guantanamo Bay where they didn’t want to let her go. While on deployment, she earned her warfare qualification pin. She is a devoted wife and the best mother in the world for our two kids. She balances work and family expertly and even makes time for hobbies. For the past 14 years she has been the light of my life, and I want everyone to know how special she is.
