Two thugs who abducted and beat The Calling singer Alex Band also robbed him during the terrifying ordeal.

The star was snatched from a street in Lapeer, Michigan after heading out for a late-night walk on Saturday and he was later found badly beaten and dumped on train tracks nearby.

Now it has emerged the singer was also robbed during his ordeal, according to editors at TMZ.

Officers at Lapeer City Police Department have confirmed they are looking for two male suspects who were seen driving a blue minivan in the area at the time Band was kidnapped. It is unclear what was stolen from the singer.

Band was treated in hospital for his injuries and was later released.
