A personal trainer is suing Rod Stewart over allegations his son Sean failed to pay for workout sessions.

Fitness guru Randy Rene has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles claiming he is owed $5,440 for training Sean between March and May last year.

According to editors at TMZ, Rene alleges Sean advised him to seek payment for the sessions from his medical insurance as the workouts were scheduled to help alleviate injuries he suffered in a car accident.

It is not clear why Sean’s rock star father is named in the suit.
