Man arrested over Kid Rock burglary attempt

A suspect has been arrested by police investigating an attempted burglary at Kid Rock’s Detroit home.

Cops launched a probe after security cameras showed a man on crutches driving a van into a gate at the property before trying to break in to the home on Wednesday.

A male was arrested on Saturday after a tip-off to officials and is currently in custody awaiting arraignment.

Following the attempted break-in, the All Summer Long hitmaker warned he will take tough action against any would-be burglars, writing in a post on his website, “I am an avid hunter and marksman and I will not hesitate to shoot anyone who has myself or family in fear for our lives.”

He also offered a $5,000 reward to help catch the would-be thief.
