Bruce Springsteen has topped a new list of the Greatest Live Acts Right Now, beating Prince and the Rolling Stones.

Rolling Stone magazine editors invited a panel of writers, industry figures and artists, including Metallica’s Lars Ulrich and Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, to vote for their favourite live performers on the road today – and the experts picked The Boss as the must-see act.

To be eligible for the list, a performer had to have toured within the last five years and not announced their retirement.

Also making the top 10: Arcade Fire, Neil Young, Jay Z, Radiohead, Jack White, Rage Against the Machine and My Morning Jacket.
