DALLAS (AP) — A memorial service is set for Saturday for country music legend Ray Price.

The service is set for 1 p.m. at a church in Mount Pleasant, Texas — about 110 miles northeast of Dallas.

Price died Monday at the ranch he owned with his wife near Mount Pleasant.

Price was 87 — and is credited with changing the sound of country music as he teamed up with some of the genre’s biggest stars.
