Bills fan club wants Bon Jovi banned in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — For some fans of the Buffalo Bills, Jon Bon Jovi is giving his love for football a bad name.

The rock star is linked to a Toronto-based developer who is interested in purchasing an NFL franchise and moving it to Canada’s largest city. That’s seen as a threat to Buffalo, whose Bills play across the border in Western New York State — and might be the target of a possible sale.

A Bills fan club aimed at keeping the team in New York has launched an online petition to have Buffalo area bars ban Bon Jovi music. The ban would apply to DJ’s, live bands or jukeboxes.
