FORT EUSTIS, Va. –Gold Medal Winners Mia Hamm, Kristine Lilly and Tisha Venturini Hoch will be at the Anderson Field House answering questions and demonstrating soccer drills to the Eustis community June 16 from 9:30 a.m.to 11:30 a.m. Doors open at 8:30 a.m.
With 158 goals to her credit, Hamm is the most prolific scorer the world has ever seen. She is a 4-time NCAA Champion, 2-time Olympic Gold Medalist, and was the U.S. Soccer player of the year from 1994-1998.
Lilly is the most decorated women’s soccer player of all time. With 352 caps, she has the most international appearances in the history of the sport. She is a 4-time NCAA Champion, 2-time FIFA World Cup Champion, 2-time Olympic Gold Medalist, and was the U.S. Soccer player of the year in 1993, 2005 and 2006.
Hoch is a 4-time NCAA Champion, a FIFA World Cup Champion, Olympic Gold Medalist and the first player to score a goal in the Women’s Olympic Soccer History. Her high school and collegiate teams tallied a combined record of 151-1-3.
There will be free soccer balls and t-shirts while supply lasts. Soccer balls will be limited to one per household, T-shirts for anyone as long as the supply lasts. This event is free and open to the public sponsored by 733rd Mission Support Group.
