Dennis was born and raised in Chesapeake, VA. He is a 2005 Honor Graduate of Great Bridge High School and a 2010 Cum Laude graduate of Old Dominion University. Dennis has overcome severe adversity in his adult life as just seven days before he was to ship out for basic training, his young brother suddenly passed away. Dennis was to report for duty just two days after the funeral. Although he was given the opportunity to delay his reporting date, he chose to fulfill his obligation to the service, having not taken the time to grieve. He then underwent 8 1/2 weeks of isolation from his friends and family while receiving basic training at Lackland AFB, TX. Dennis accomplished his training graduating in the top 10% of his class and receiving honors from his Command. He was then transferred to Keesler AFB, MS for additional training and quickly started his assent up the student leadership ladder obtaining the honor of “red rope”. After completing his training there, he was assigned to his current post, Ramstein AFB, where he continues to accell in everything he attempts. He is proud of the uniform that he wears and take his job protecting his country and countrymen very seriously.Submitted by Mom and Dad.
