Race for Breath 5K Run/Walk, 1 Mile Walk, and Kid’s Fun Run aims to raise the public’s awareness regarding lung cancer and provide hope for those impacted by the disease. Proceeds will benefit Lung Cancer Alliance, the only national non-profit organization dedicated to providing information, support and advocacy for people living with lung cancer and those at risk for the disease.

The race will be held at the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, 24th Street at Atlantic Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA and will take place on the boardwalk. On-site registration begins at 7:30am, the 5K starts at 9:00am, and the 1 mile walk and Kids Fun Run both start at 9:45am. Event Day Registration will be $35. Efforts will be made to provide a T-shirt to all participants; however, T-shirts cannot be guaranteed for registrations after October 7th. T-shirts may not be swapped out for a different size.

This year we will be having an after-party directly following the race at Murphy’s Restaurant 2914 Pacific Avenue just 5 blocks from the race. We will be having a silent auction and raffle. Music and fun!
