Ahoy me Matey’s, gather ye’ scallywags, privateers and buccaneers and join us as we attempt to break the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title for “Largest Gathering of Pirates!”

This record is currently held by Hastings, England with a gathering of 14,231 pirates.  The Festival and record attempt will take place in The Mariners’ Museum Park.

The Pirate Festival will include:

  • Food and Beverage Vendors
  • Live Music and Entertainment
  • Craft and Pirate Merchandise Vendors
  • A Children’s Area
  • Period Encampments
  • And Much More!

The official count will take place at 2 p.m. so be sure you are here before that time dressed in your pirate attire. Here is what you must wear to be counted as a pirate:

  • Pirate Pants or Wench skirt
  • White or Striped Shirt
  • Hat or Bandana
  • Accessory Item such as an eye patch, sword, parrot, etc.
