Howdy there “paw”dners!!!! Chesapeake City Council has proclaimed June “Adopt-a-Cat Month”, and right now Chesapeake Animal Services has over 100 cats!!! It’s time to korral these orphaned critters and find them a ranchero of their own. So pull on your cowboy boots, and mosey on down for the “Kitty Korral”. Whoo hoo lil buddies, this is going to be one wild rodeo adoption event!

The “Kitty Korral” runs Sunday, June 22 through Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Chesapeake Animal Services, located at 2100 S. Military Highway. There will be games and prizes for all, as well as a free gift with every cat adoption. Partnering with our friends, the Chesapeake Humane Society, we’re going to try to empty all of our cages and find homes for every one of our cats and kittens.

So, come lasso yourself a great deal on one of our cuter than a June bug cats or kittens. Adult cats only $5.99; kittens $9.99. A second cat or kitten is an amazing $.99!!!! All adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip. Each adoption is a $300 value. Now, cowboys and cowgals, you can’t beat that deal with a hickory stick!!

So don’t let us be lonesome doves! Come find your new BTBE (Best Trail Buddy Ever). Tell your friends, too. We’ll be waiting for you “paw”dners, and our beautiful cats and kittens will be, too!

In this photo released by Fox, Homer explains why he wants to bring back the annual 4th of July fireworks display, after it's cancelled for budget reasons, in the "Yellow Badge of Cowardge" Season Finale episode of "The Simpsons," in May 2014. The full 25-year run of "The Simpsons" will arrive on cable channel FXX with a summer marathon, to be paired this fall with a digital extravaganza that could turn other TV shows yellow with envy. "I'm not going to over-promise, but I think this website will provide you with affordable health care," longtime "Simpsons" executive producer Al Jean told a TV critics' meeting Monday, July 21, 2014.

The recent marathon of all 552 episodes of "The Simpsons" inspired us to sit down and come up with our 10 favorite episodes. Enjoy!
