WNOR Hog Wild Summer Rules 2014

From 5/2/14 through 8/10/14 at 11:59pm, participants must text a contest keyword to 77000 for a chance to become a Harley qualifier. A different keyword will be revealed each week at WNOR event(s) where the Harley-Davidson is on display. These events will be announced on the air and online at FM99.com. In the event there is a week with no on-site event, the texting keyword for that week will appear on FM99.com from Monday through Sunday of that week. Entrants may enter once per keyword. Entrants may only qualify to win once.

12 entrants per week will be randomly chosen each Monday by a WNOR staffer starting 5/5/14 and ending 8/11/14. Qualifiers will be notified by phone by a WNOR staffer.  These 12 entrants will become Harley qualifiers and will need to be present to win at the finale event on 8/16/14 at 2:30pm at Bayside Harley-Davidson, 2211 Frederick Boulevard, Portsmouth, VA 23704.

At the finale just after 2:30pm, a WNOR staffer will randomly choose 5 qualifiers from the 180 qualifiers who will become “finalists.” These finalists must be present to win at the stage where the drawing is taking place. If a finalist does not identify himself/herself by 2:45pm, he/she will not be eligible to be a finalist. No additional names will be drawn to take his/her place.

Participants may also register for a chance to become a “finalist” by filling out a registration form at the finale between 10:00am and 2:30pm. Just after 2:30pm, the last “finalist” will be randomly chosen by a WNOR staffer. If that “finalist” does not identify himself/herself by 2:45pm, he/she will not be eligible to be a finalist. No additional names will be drawn to take his/her place.

After all “Finalists” have been named, a WNOR staffer will conduct a random drawing to determine the winner of the Harley. The winner will be notified immediately.

The Texting deadline is each Sunday at 11:59pm from 5/4/14 through 8/10/14.
Registration deadline at finale is 2:30pm on 8/16/14.

The prize is 2014 H-D Super Glide® Custom (Retail: $15,899.00).Winner is responsible for paying taxes and all DMV fees. Prize will be available immediately and will be awarded as soon as winner pays taxes and title and completes paperwork.

WNOR contests are open to all eligible Virginia and North Carolina residents who live or work within 75 miles from our offices and are 21 or older who have not won anything on WNOR in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after ahousehold has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WNOR, Tidewater Communications, LLC, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WNOR main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
