What is it? The Polar Plunge® Winter Festival, Feb. 7-8, 2014, is Special Olympics Virginia’s largest fundraiser, during which individuals and teams, alongside Special Olympics athletes, take the plunge into Virginia Beach’s icy Atlantic Ocean in the height of winter! Other crowd favorites include Friday’s Cool School Challenge for middle and high school students, the Friday Night Plunge Party featuring Slapnation, Saturday’s 5K, a beach volleyball tournament (new for 2014) and the Pee Wee Plunge for kids 10 and under.

Fine Print: All General FM99 Contest Rules Apply. Race registration valued at $35, tickets valued $5 each and Plunge valued at $100. Winner will be randomly chosen on Monday, February 3rd. Prizes will be available for pick up at the FM99 Studio offices after the winner has been notified.
