WNOR will begin to award Christmas Wishes on 11/25/13. Letter review is an ongoing process, so wishes may be granted any time between 11/25/13 and 12/18/13.

The wishes will be awarded at the sole discretion of management of WNOR, on the basis of compatibility of station programming, need of recipient, and the expressions of Christmas spirit. All decisions of the judges at WNOR are final. The number of entries that are granted as a wish is at the sole discretion of WNOR management. After awarding a wish, WNOR may require recipient to provide WNOR with documentation that supports their application. If WNOR discovers, at any time during the contest, that inaccurate information led to the award, WNOR reserves the right to change the amount of the award or void the entire award.  Not all wish requests will be granted.

All parties (entrants and families being nominated) must live in Hampton Roads or northeast North Carolina and live or work within 75 miles of the station. They must be 18 or older who have not won anything on WNOR in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WNOR, Tidewater Communications, LLC, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WNOR main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse.
