Free City Garage Parking Available Starting 11 p.m. Saturday at Oceanfront and Town Center

In anticipation of Hurricane Sandy, the city parking garages at the Oceanfront and Town Center will be open to anyone who wants to keep their vehicles on higher ground.

  • The 9th Street and 31st Street garages will be open to free parking from 11 p.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Tuesday.
  • Town Center garages are always open to free parking every day.
  • Cars and vans may park in the garages, but not recreational vehicles, trailers or boats.
  • The 19th Street and 25th Street surface lots will be open to free parking during the same times, but these lots are not on higher ground.
  • The city is not responsible for any damage to vehicles while parked in city garages.
